The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and the Low Carbon Innovation Network are working in partnership on an acclaimed national programme of best practice events. These networking events enable CIWM members and other invited guests to share best practice, foster professional networks and develop actionable ideas to help reduce carbon emissions by promoting best practice in waste and resource management.
The unique format of these events allows delegates to share their real life experiences and take away real solutions to every day problems.
Each Exchange has been developed around a programme of roundtable discussion groups together with a range of case studies and networking opportunities meaning that participants can tailor their day to suit their particular interests. Those attendees who host a table are also eligible to participate on a complimentary basis.
Previous share sessions have tackled issues such as:
• Tackling waste & recycling issues in the construction industry
• Waste as a resource
• Improving the corporate culture for recycling
• Saving energy through CHP
• Packaging reduction and optimisation

been presented by companies such as:

• The Carbon Trust
